Legend of the Teal Prince (747 words) -- A short fairytale-esque ficlet about the origins of the Teal Prince. -- One dark, misty morning, a stranger walked into a quaint little town. As it was a very small town, all townspeople who were already awake for the day – the farmers, the bakers, the blacksmith and so on – noticed the arrival of this stranger. They all approached him, with both wonder and wariness decorating their hearts. This stranger looked mighty odd to them. The clothes he wore seemed to be of a different world’s entirely, and the spotlessness of his skin, hair, clothes, all gave him the air of a rich lord’s son. “Dear stranger, might I ask? Are you lost?” a brave townsman decided to ask, after a certain amount of ogling. “We typically only receive poor merchants and country bumpkins into this tiny town of ours – there is nothing for you that we can offer, here.” Instead of answering however, the stranger said, “Dear, sir, if I may ask; please help me.” The
